HARTFORD, May 12. ——The grand
chapter of Connecticut, Royal Arch
Masons, met at Masonic Temple here
today, for its 116th annual convention.
Grand High Priest Louis L. Beach, or
Bristol presided. Representatives
Ifrom the iorty-iive chapters in the
State to the number of between 150
'and 160 and visitors from other grand
chapters were present. Various re-
ports were submitted at the torenoon
session and emcers were elected in
' the afternoon.
In his address Grand High Priest
Beach made reference to the prosper
one condition of the grand chapter and
the several subordinate chapters, and
to the harmony existing. He said
there had been only one call for a do
clslon and not a by-law or regulation
had to be enforced. The death or
