lic Utilities Commission today granted
the request of the New York, New
Haven and Hartford Railroad asking
that the order calling for elimination
of grade crossings be ssupended this
year. The railroad company entered
this request on January 20, pleading
that the financial condition of the
road precluded the work being done
this year. Tlilrty~one grade crossings
will not be eliminated this year. as
a consequence of today's decision.
