Boulevard, last night. Mr. ISelleck
fell down the cellar stairs at his home
about 9 o’clock and died in less than
four hours as the result of the injur-
ies he sustained.
Mr. ISelleck stumbled at the top of
the stairs, evidently on his way dov'm
to attend to the furnace. He fell
headflrst the entire flight,
heavily upon his face, head and arm.

A visit by live barge captains whose
boats are at the docks in the First
District. to the home of Lillie Zitt on
Smith street, yesterday. led to a fight
and subsequent arrest. This morning
IJudge Lockwood heard the evidence in
the cases. The men's names are Cum-
mings and Elwsy, and the women, Lil-
lie thtyind Mrs. Lillie McCoy, the lat
ter of Brook street. Cummings was
charged with assault and drunkenness
and was fined 37 and costs. The same
amount was given to Elway for drunk-
ounces and fornication. The cases of
both women were continued not 1 Sat-
iirday, April 4. The tht woman was
charged with keeping a house of ill
fame and Mrs. ‘McCoy with fornica-
tion. ‘ .
The two men were allowed to go

the address of the evening, his sub-

Fr. Keefe repeated his success as
an orator and greatly’pleas‘ed his an-
dience with his speech. He took some
examples of the prominent men in
national life and showed that Irish
blood runs through their veins. Two
vocal solos followed and the orchestra
played the “Star...ISpangled Banner,"
with the audience standing. From
then‘on the dancing was in order and
it was enjoyed until midnight.

Another case of shooting occurred
on the Fair Grounds last night and
