[Athletic Club ibuilding, yesterday, it is
believed, will begin to unfold itself to;
day when firemen enter the ruins in

What apeared to be a human body
was seen wedged between the fire-
escalpe and the last remaining wall
just below a seven-story window.
Seven dead were taken from the
building yesterday and twenty-seven
others who are known to have been in
the building at the time of the fire

who was on his death bed. Miss Alice
Dewitt came, to Wilton from Hartford
last week, and became his wife, the
ceremony being performed Saturday
night by Rev, Charles A. Marks. pas-
tor of the Wilton-Episcopal Church.
The only witness to the cetemony was
the mother of the dying man. Mrs.
Frank S. Weston. This morning at
about nine o‘clock the ravages or the
disease with which Mr. Weston was
afflicted terminated fatally and he
breathed his last in the arms of his
bride.
The death of Mr. Weston, which ev-
eryone knew was but. a matter of
.hours, when he was married. removes
alarm was given and who escaped'
with more or less serious injuries'
