Tile papers submitted for investigation consisted of the printed reports
of the‘committee for the years ended on plane 1st, 1912, and on June id
1918. together with the treasurer's staparlrte report for the latter your, establi-
lnent from “The Norwaih Sentinel," oi' the position of the electric light plant
as at June 1st, 1012, and an abstract of the cash transactions from Jun
lot, 1013, to Nov. .3001, 1913. The last mentioned was compiled by W. it.
Smitten. No vouchers were submitted. . " *
Alter examination and inquiry the figures chosen for analysis were
those contained in the treasul‘or’s report for year to June lot, 1913. These-
werc taken as being most likely to furnish useful information. They drop,
with few exceptions, the same as those contained in U10 committee's TOW

During the year there were on the average 191 street lamps. including the!-
