in the courts. About four months ago
she Was again arrested charged with
keeping a house at ill-repute, and gave
a bond of $800. On representations
of illness, the state alleges, at differ‘
out times when the case was to come
up she delayed her appearance The
last time, she represented that she
was having her toe nails treated and
had gone to a hospital for that pur-
pose.
In the Superior Court the state's
attorney called her bond and then had
a bench warrant issued for her. This
was served on her at the hospital. Ac-
companied by the physician who was
attending her, she was brought to the
court in an ambulance and carried in-
to the courtroom. ‘
