ED.
STAM FORD. Sept. 20.—-The new
buildings of the Stamford Hospital, on
Hubbard's Hill, were dedicated this
afternoon. Hundreds of persons dur»
ing the day visited the institution to
inspect the new parts. The hospital
represents an outlay of $400,000,‘ of
which $100,000 was contributed by the
directors and incorporntors, and much
of the remainder by popular subscrip-
tion. The buildings stand upon a site
of twelve acres in extent. denoted by
Albert (:rnno'and are df brick and fire-
proof. An isolation hospital for con
tngious cases is a considerable din
tunes from the main structures. These
include 1111 American building and
words, power plant. kitchen, laundry,
etc. it is claimed that in its plan and
equipment the now hospital is superior
to any of its size. in the country.
