{New York, New Haven and Hartford
{Railroad Company yesterday after-
noon authorized the issuanCc of $67;
552,400 in debenture bonds, at a six
per cent. rate, with the right of con-
version iuto stock. The authorization
was a formality only as sufficient more
fires were in hand several days ago for
an affirmative vote, and those held by

Elbert N. Clark, of Milford, one by
Pearl English, of Norwalk, and the
second by Joseph W. Howe, also of _,
Norwalk. The complaint-is the same
in both cases, alleging that the tie
fondant on July 28th, 1913, entered
upon the land belonging to the plain-
tiff without their knowledge or con
sent and carted away gravel and has
continued to do so even after the de-
fendant had been warned to desist.
Two claims are made in each case, in-
junction restraining the defendant
from committing further trespass up-
on the premises under penalty 0! $500,
and damages in the sum of $1.50.
William D. Blake, of Bridgeport, is
made the defendant in two suits for
damages resulting from an automobile
accident in which Blake participated.
