yesterday at a meeting of the county
commtsloners, and‘ I. committee of
the Fairileld Couflty Bur association
at the court house. The chief pun
pose of the meeting was to arrange
an amicable way ‘of taking the prop
erty over without costly legal pro-

The proposition to acquire the Hall
Home property next. to the court

At a meeting in Hartford of sena-
tors and representatives it was voted
that the county commissioners pro-
ceed to take the first step in acquir-
ing the Hall Home. Yesterday's
meeting was held for that purpose.
