All the members of the Haymalters'
Association wore farmers' costumes,
and many of the ladies present were
attired as farmers' wives. presenting
a novel appearance. V,
The Lyric Orchestra provided excel
lent music for the dancing, and other
attractions offered by the Haymakers.
The musicians were located in the
balcony, and so great was the gather-
ing on the floor that it was necessary
to open the club-room upstairs, where
dancing was also‘iudulged in.
The wedding ceremony tdok plum
promptly at 10 o'clock, and created
much interest, owing to the fact that
no one had been able to learn who the
contracting parties were to be. The
audience did not learn until after the
ceremony, and there was much sur-
