banks at presidential post offices was
completed early in the fiscal year, end-

the report. Since then the system has
been extended to 4.004 fourthclaes
post offices, as well as to 045 branch
offices and stations in the larger cities.
There are now 12,812 pastel savings
banks at which patrons may open ac-l
counts. The number of depositors int

rested in postal savings bonds.
On the basis of the present monthly
net increase of deposits it is estimated
that the gross income at the Postal
