A mass meeting of the delegates

Merlden Sunday to discuss the work-
ingmen's compensation act, the bill
for which was drafted by Charles J.
Danaher, of Meriden. About one
present. The meeting was held in
the Merlden Auditorium in the city
hall and was called to order by Rep.
resentutive Julius Stremlau, of Merl-
den, who introduced the president of
the state branch, Timothy Flanagan,
of Bridgeport, who in turn intro-
duced the originator of the bill,
Charles A. Denalier. Mr. Danaher‘
