and his respected father, Rev. George
Van Aletyne.
Mr. Van Alstyne belonged to few
fraternal bodies. but was particularly
devoted to the water and his boats.
He was a member of the Norwalk
Country Club and the South Not-walk

welfare. He was familiarly referred to
as "Van.” and everybody was cheated
by his geniality and cheefulneeau He
