Since the kidnapping the mother had
not securing, child until she was
brought to the court house this morn-
ing by the father. The child rushed to

Germanebtl was traced to Waterbury
and later to Torrington. In the latter
piece the habeau corpus papers were

child today at the local court house.
When. the hearing was begun this
morning at eleven o'clock Patrolman
John H. Smith, of Smith Norwalk, tes-‘
tilled that Germanettl was a man 0!

was discharged.“ a supernumerary
policeman of South Norwalk two years
ago because of bad habits.

proceed with the case in chambers.
The chambers' proceedings occupied
nearly two hours, and it was nearlyi
