fashioned football throughout and
there wasn’t a gain of over eight

scrimmage no attempt was made at
drop kicking.
The varsity Started out with its reS~
ular lineup except that Guii’auer‘
played in place of Bomeisler. The
scrimmage hadn‘t continued very long
when Gellauer‘ was‘injured and went
out of the game and Sheldon came in
in his place. Sheldon played a good
game the remaining minutesuof play.
The first tenchdowu was made after
the varsity nan rushed tne‘nauco the
live-yard line. Flynn and ‘Sualding
doing most of the carrying us Philbin
is being saved for Saturday. Flynn
put the ball over and didn‘t try for
the goal. '
The Yale eleven had its last heavy
practice this afternlmn in preparation
for the Harvard game. Only light1
