Mary Budna, Aged Sixteen Years,

’ The sudden disappearance of Mary
Budna, of Lexington avenue, aged six-
" ’leén, is causing her parents and rela-
tives considerable alarm and worry.
Mary- pocked up her few effects and
left home Monday, to parts unknown.
Investigation as to whether it. who
another white slave problem proved
that the young woman has been some-
what unsteady for some time. She
has often been reported by her par—
ents to the police and“ every effort
has been made by her stricken par-
ents to keep her within the narrow
path of righteousness. Her father is
at present suffering from nervous
prostratlon and her disappearance is
not assisting any in his recovery.
The South Norwalk police have
been notified “of Mary‘s disappearance
and in working on the case.

men had entered the car at Mystic
and alter robbing them, escaped at

in his opinion before the vote is tek-

and Hartford Railroad company, and

demonstration Bridgeport and Stam-
ford will bc holding similar meetings
for a like purpose. The Ministers' Als-

tion and the Bridgeport Board of
Trade have taken the matter up and
have practically completed arrange-
ments for the meeting.
The Norwalk Board of Traderdirec
tors will consider the matter at, the
meeting this pvening and than pinba-
bility will endorse the demonstration.
The meeting will probably pass and
present resolutions to the Inter-state
Commerce Commission with a. view of
setting at the road in this way, when
others would probably fail.
