geny of Mr. and Mrs. John T. Carroll
of Reading Ridge. participated In the
celebration of their gOIden wedding
there on Saturday when many rela-
tives and guests joined In a fitting ob-
servance of the fiftieth anniversary of
their nuptials. There was a. large
gathering of townsfolk as well as vis-

couple in their having enjoyed such
a long, useful and happy union

The bride was a leading soprano sin»
ger in St. Mary's church, Norwalk, for

began housekeeping, at the homestead

Mr. Carroll has been among the lead-

couple. All are living, and reside In
Bilgeport. They are Mrs. F. F. Cotter.
