Far Norwalk and vicinty: Fair to-
night, foilowed by inreasing cloudi-
ness Tuesday; warmer except in ex-
treme south portion; moderate east
and southeast winds. A long trough
of low pressure running from Texas
northeastward ,to Michigan, is pro
ducing unsettled weather with light,
local showers in the Mississippi val-

vard game but fall which resulted in
the throwing out of 1,000 names has
led to a change in the method of allot-
ment this year. For the Hrsvard
game no “borrowed applications" will
be received. That is. every graduate
must apply in his own name for his
own tickets with the implied under-
standing that they are tor his own use
and not to be turned over toiriends.

Furthermore in order to puts pre-
mium on the scaling of seats to the
exact number personally needed by the
applicant. applications calling for a
single seat will be allotted first of all.
Following these will come applications
for single seats where twa applicants
have pinned their envelopes together,
signifying that they desire their seats
together.

Next will be allotted all applications
calling for two seats. which lathe more
imnm to be allowed on any onenppii'
nation. it is hoped that by this-motto
on enough graduates will be tempted
to sacrifice quantity to quality so that
all who apply for seats will be able to
got some kind or a seat. The method
will assure ovary man who is content
to ask for one seat only or seeing the

above that accumulated filth is left
to dry on rocks and along the river
banks.

The city of Waterbury has been
gambling desperately on the prospect
of heavy rains. God Almighty is the
only element that can possibly save
this city of 72.000 souls from water
famine and pestilence.
