For Norwalk and vicinity: Fair and
continued cool tonight and Friday.
The disturbance which passed out the
St. Lawrence Valley yesterday, pro
duced showers in the eastern portion
of the Lake region and along the At-
lantic coast north of Virginia. The:
southern disturbance has moved but
little and continues to cause showers
on the East Gulf and South Atlantic
coasts! There has been a decided fall
in temperature in the northern sec-
tions east of the Mississippi river.

Rhea Carelll Testifies Chauf-
ieur’s Actions Were Cause of
Fatal Auto Accident
HARTFORD, Sept. i2.—-—Tha~t an at-
tempt on the part of Howard P. Hal-
sey, of Windsor, «chauffeur of the car
in which Miss Annie Carelli, of 9
Wooster place, New Haven. was rid-
ing when she received fatal injuries.
