The complainant alleges that the
defendant recklessly and carelessly
handled the gun which produced the
fatal results.
The details of like accident are well
known to all and it is not necessary
to relate them here.
The boy was exonerated fnonl all
blame of the shooting. The coroner
decided thutit was an accident pure
and‘slmple, and did not hold young
”O'Neil.
The boy was much affected by the
happening and was confined to his
home for some time with a nervous
breakdown, as the result. it is only
lately that he has .gone out and min-
gled with his former friends. His
parents were likewise greatly grieved
ever. the affair.
This morning Mrs. O‘Neil'steted
that It was a mid sequence to the
tragedy and one which she deepbt rs.
hearted and did not care to talk on
the matter.
Damages to the amount of $10,000
are claimed by John Wood. who Is?
now In Louisville, Ky. The estate of
the defendants was attached by Dep~
