striking operatives at the Lancaster
mills made their usual demonstration
at the hour of opening the mill gates
today, but there was no marked in-
sttutce of discord. More than 50 no—

center and Fitchburg were stationed
in the vicinity of the mills. The strik-
era paraded back and forth before
the gates. bttt did not attempt to inter-

work. After the gates were closed
the strikers marched back towards the
