tising men from all parts of the Na-
tion reached lhillns yesterday, each
delegation coming with some startling
variety of noise or decoration design-
ed to impress others with. the import-
ance of the particular town from
which each hailed. , .
It was the signal for the beginning
of the annual meeting of the Associat-
ed Advertising Clubs of America. The
first feature yesterday was the auto-
mobile parade. There Were features
of "publicity" from almost every city
in the Union. There Were hundreds
of varieties of "local color." The St.
Louis delegation. for instance. brought
