opinion that the fattening of oysters

with the decision of the government

futtened in brackish water should be
considered as sdulterated. it is bit
lleved that Seeretnry Wilson will sign

the thousands of oyster growers along
the shores oi the Atlantic and the Pa-
cific. .
Under a decision last year oysters
were allowed to be.fatteued in “water
of a less saline content than that in
which oysters will properly mature"
it is now held that this expression "is
impossible of interpretation.”
Under the previous decision oysters
floated in water less salty than thitin
which they grow had to be labelled
"floated oysters. " '

growers hereabouts, commuting on
