journey to Greenwich Saturday after-
noon and held the strong team of that
place scoreless. NorWalk did not win
the game, but the mere fact that this
was the first time that Greenwich fail-
at! to score on the locals caused much
joy in the local camp and made them
rather jubilant coming home. as was
plainly seen by their actions. There-
ault' of the game was a surprise. not
only to the followers of the Green and
White, but tlso to the. Greenwich fans

piyaed Greenwich in every department
of the game for the first three quar-
ters, but the extra weight of Green-
wich told on Norwalk in the last quar-
ter. Norwnlk made her gains many
times. but hard luck kept them from
scoring. The line plunging of Green
wood, O’Hara and Sturdevant was very
good. McVey of Greenwich shone for
Greenwich as a line plunger. Schlltt
made some long runs for Greenwich.
but he. was not used Very often. These

pal ground gainers, while Greenwood.
Fitelson and O'Hara shone in this
