OR a number of years we have given annually Ten
Thousand Dollars ($10,000) lor charity. .The dis-
tribution ol this sum has been made according to

an equitable plan which enabled our patrons to assist and
guide us in the allotment of the different amounts to vari-
ous charitable and benevolent associations.

This year in commemoration of the consolidation of
the two stores, Siegel Cooper 00. and Greenhut and Com-
pany. into one large establishment Mr. J B. Greenhut
President of The Greenhut-Siegel Cooper 00.. deems it
fitting to increase our annual donation for charity from
Ten Thousand Dollars to the munificent sum of Thirty
Thousand Dollars ($30,000). '

This amount is donated out of our just earnings and is
given for charity in lieu at being distributed to the stock-
holders ol Greenhut-Siegel Cooper (20.. in order to empha-

Voting Plan .

For any benevolent or charitable institution which
you wish to favor. you use your sales-slips as ballots.

For each ten cents of purchase-amount shown on
sales-slip one vote will be counted for the charity desig—

nated on the back of the slip.

if you desire to vote. write the name and address of
the institution or the charity on the back 02 your sales-
slip and within two weeks from date at sale deposit auch
slips in the locked box provided for the purpose at the
nuance to the Women‘ s Parlor on the Fourth Floor of

our Main Building.

(barge customers may use a ballot-slip. which will
be furnished by the charge otfice upon request. when
