TONIGHT.
For those who do not fully un-
derstand both the bridge and park
features of the bridge bill. which

keenly interested in having a favor-
able vote cast on the dual question at
bridge and park express mistrust as to
the attitude of voters not resident in
sections thought to be in line with
the apparently direct benefits to be

would be blinded to the general good.
including their own. and seek by their
votes to destroy the chance of realiz-
ing either the special or general bene-

It is unfortunate that such distrust
exists and it is another misfortune ii
any foundation for it exiiits. The one
reacts on the other. increases and. in
,great measure, createsil. it may be
too true that our town, in place of
being an entity whole, in and con.

and units whose reason of being was

for South Norwallt only. Nor—
walk. East Norwalk and Roway-

The American Band of twenty-
five pieces has been engaged for;
the occasion and will hold con-l
certs in Norwailr and South Nora
There will be a parade in both
cities, with plenty of red fire and-
excitement.
At the meeting of the Mer-
chants’ and Manufacturers' As-
sociation. which was held last
evening. that body unanimously
endorsed both the bridge and park
features of the bill.
The association went further
