officials are giving sonic attontidn to
the efforts of South Norwalk in re-
gurds to its improvements of the bar—
bol is evidenced by the announcement
made yesterday to the effect that on or

the proposed establishment of harborl

Norwaik board of councilman.

Turned Turtle

 

Miss Fisher was slightly injured and
her parents and leman Mason. of
Daricn. all miraculously escaped sor-
lous injuries and possibly death. yes-
terday morning, when the automobile
in which they were riding, and which
Mr. Mason was driving. crashed into
a telephone pole and turned turtle, in
Main stresh Darleu. Miss Fisher’s in-
juries were on the head and are ho
lleved to be slight. The other occu-
pants of the car escaped wlth.mlnor
injuries. such as slight abrasions and
a severe joltlng up. That they all es‘
coped morc serious injuries is little
short of miraculous

The merry party, consisting of Mr.
and Mrs. Fisher and daughter and
Zigmau Mason, were galiy spinning
signs the wide, smooth highway when
suddenly the steering gear want
wrong. With the car unmanageable

Mr Mason threw on his emergency
blake and suocaoded in lessening the

ing the car as it fell over.

Miss Fisher sustained minor injuries
to her head. which troubled her tom-
porarily, but it is not thought that
any serious results will follow.
