ted to the school pending the appeal.
The young girl was accused of steal-
ing a bank book containing $107.50
belonging to William H. Gould and in-
trusted to Pinkham for deposit in a
Bridgeport bank.
The girl aollnowiodsod the theft of
the $125 but denied taking the bank
book or its contents. As there was
no proof of the theft. Attorney (3. H.
King, who was prosecuting. did not
press the charge.

she abstracted the roll of money and
it In alleged the bunk book from the
pocket. of Mr. l’in-kham‘s overalls
which she was washing. There is a
