FitzGibbons, Jr.. charged with murder-
ing with an axe his parents. Thomas
F. and Nora FitsGlbbcns; of Division
street. on the night of March 18 last,
was acquitted yesterday morning in
the city court on grounds of alcoholic
insanity. and committed by Judge Bry-
ant to the,Connecticut Hospital for
the insane st Mlddletown for a period
of six months, or until such time as

cused and entered a plea of not guilty
in each case. The prisoner having no
counsel. upon suggestion of Prosecut-

parent that the prisoner was insane
and that insanity was a matter of de-
