give its last presentation of Edwin
Milton Royie's‘ great play of western
life. "The Squawmnn. This great play
dealing with life. on the plains tells a
most interesting story of heart inter-
est, one. that when once seen will nev-
cr be forgotten and in one of the most;
absorbing and gripping pieces of dra»
math: work of the day. The scenic and
electrical effects are most elaborate of
any seen upon a local stage in many a.
day. and too much 111 the way of praise
cannot be said of the excellent man-
ner in which the piece is presented by
the excellent cast.
Air. Elwood F. llostwich is seen in
tho title,role and he gives a most clev-
er portrayal of that role. Miss Caro-
line Locke, as Diana, plays her part
seriously and well. The other mem-
bers of the1 cast 1without a single ex-
ception give a splendid performance
throughout. their work being worthy
of great praise. All in all the play this
week is by great odds the biggest dra-
matic success of this all-star com-
pany
in conjunction with the play a line
p1ogrnm of motion pictures are short 11
bethen the acts and Miss Lillian
Stiles the popular vocalist of the com-
pany renders some. songs ‘111 a very
pleasing manner.

Miss (‘aroline Locke will be seen in
the title role and Mr. E. 11‘. llostwlck
will play the role of Armand Duvet.
