The East Norwnlk Fire Police held
a monthly business session last ev-cn

Interest is steadily growing among
East Norwolk people in the proposlw
lions for annexation to the City of
South Norwalk. At first there was not
so general an interest as might be ex-
ectsd in so importation matter but it
now holds place with the new Wash-
ington street bridge project.
The monthly meeting of the East
Norwaill improvement Association is
due to be held this afternoon at the
headquarters of Mayflower Hook and
Ladder and Hose Company in Van
Zandt street but it was doubted this
morning that the attendance would
be large, on account at the weather

has been before every California state
legislature since 1879 and refused.
