Many New Scholars Will Be Enrolled
Today for the spring Term.
The public schools of the town op-
ened this morning. and the scholars
returned to their work after having
enjoyed the annual Christmas vaca-
tion. The joyful peeling of the school
bulls were heard shortly before 9
o'clock and the scholars with their
books made their way to the various
school houses, ready for the spring
term. Scholars and teachers who have
been spending the vacation out of town
at their homes or with relatives and
friends also returned: to school and
feel ready for hard work after having
enjoyed the vacation of over a week.
The evening schools will reopen after
