bank. was one that will be long remem-
bered by all those prstnt as one of the
most enjoyable affairs they have evér

The club planned to have music. but
the! musicians disappointed the guests
by not appearing However. without
this feature the evening was a delight
tul one and none doubt now the hospi~
tality ot the Winnipauk Republicans.
The entertainment consisted mainly
of speeches the first being made by
the president of the club. Edward Lon.
[don His address was in the tlrst part
one at welcome. and he then proceeded
to give the history of the club. lie re«
lated how they had started with but
a few members. holding their meetings
at the various homes 01 the members
hot. the idea to build a club house had
originated and then carried through.
and how successful the organization
has become. He told the principal
season tor beginning the club. This
was to make a place for the social club
that has since been Formed. to hold
their meetings. that the growing citi-
zens ot Winnipsuk might have a place
to meet socially and to keep them you!
