to the Yale-Harvard football game and
returning, did not tear up the city
roads to any great extent. Street
Commissioner .lohn Malone said this
morning that the reason for the slight
» damage was the sprinkling of the
streets. which Was done upon his rec-
ommendations end that of the wpter
commissioners oi Norwalk on Shor-
day morning. The dust. too, was not
so thick as it would have been had the
roads not been sprinkled. and there
have been few complaints from anyone
