Increasing cloudiness and warmer
tonight. Saturday partly cloudy and
possibly local showers. Pleasant
weather prevails this morning in the
eastern and southern section. A slight
disturbance that “is central over Lake
Superior is producing clondyaud un-
settled weather with Ilocal showers in
the upper Mississippi Valley and west-
ern portion of the Lake region. This
disturbance will move eastward and
pass out the St. Lawrence valley. it
will cause rising temperature with
winds veering to southerly, but it is
hardly probable that rain will extend
as far south as this vicinity.

Another still alarm of fire this noon
called the Norwalk fire department
from their dinner and sent them to the
home of William Mchvcn, in cross
street. There they found a chimney
tire and a goat. The [out was upstairs

laugh in the manner of his descent.
The tire was soon out and tho depart-
ment returned to their quarters. There
was practically no damage. The alarm
was telephoned in by William J. Pow-
