The raid caused no little excitement

of Police William R. Pennington, and
he had with him regular Oflicers Strat-

ball at the entrance the other police-
men concealed themselves in nearby

came from upstairs and asked; "is
that you. George?" “Yes." replied

tent t at it brought Oliver. the alleged
proprietor, down stairs.
