Meeting Held Last Night
At a meeting of those interested in
civics in The Norwallts. held last eve-
ning at the Historical Library rooms
in West avenue, plans were formulated
for a Town Civits Federation. and a
committee composed of Rev. G. I).

to draft a plan of organization and
an outline of work for the proposed

This plan in not a new one. A year
ago. Frederick Q. Boyer was appoint-
ed a committee from the, Egbert Club
to lost the attitude of the city officials
towards civic impnwemeni. lie 1111-
proarhed several of the city council.

1111 to the idea. at least not in hearty
sympathy with it. Another attempt

representatives of the various organi-
zations in town interested In civics.
but a meeting night and place that
was agreeable to all could not be

effort that has bveo put forward for
the past eighteen months.
