He was graduated in medicine to Phil

lie was the first male physician to be
emanated to the Philadelphia Lying-

oldest in the world. Dr. Allen was
also appointed by examination to the
city and county hospital of Philadel-
pltia, one of the largest In the coun
try with its present capacity of over
five thousand patients, embracing all
the departments of medicine. He

varied experience for one of his age.
