gave an informal dance at lockwood'a
Hull. last night. There were eighty
couples on the floor dancing to tho

The hull was decorated in the club's

tric lights were covered with crepe
paper in colors of red and green, thus
throwing a soft light over the hall.
The costumes of the ladies were
rich and beautiful. There were a iliilil-

club who came frotn New Yeah and
Brooklyn to attend the dance.

its quarters. in Rowayton avenue. last
evening, was a very successful affair.
the supper especially, with its appetiz-

desire. Oysters, cooked in several
styles. wore the first delectable to tie.

clous cold roast fresh ham, and plenty
of it_ with nice cranberry sauce on the
side; following this were liberal por-
tions of excellent salad. both of. the po-
tato and cabbage variety; next came
linked beans——tho kind mother is in
the habit of baking, with pickles serv-
ed as u relish; then followed well.
cooked pie or pudding, whicheveryon
preferred, with cheese; and lastly, tear
or coffee, to wash it down with-all
this for a small sum of money. and to
be given at the some place again to

The fair itself. with its beautifully
appointed booths. and cute. little pig, to
be disposed of this evening. was also
run in a very gratifying manner, and
between this enterprise and that of
the supper. a handsome sum is expec-
ted to he realized.
The interior decorations of the build-
ing were pleasing to the, eye. those
downstairs in the supper r'oom consis-
ting chiefly of beautiful cut flowers,
arranged artistically ln longonecked
glass vases. placed on the.tablcs, and
an immense big American flag, per~
ltups 20 by 25 feet in dimension. which
graced the wall at one end of the room
with handsome effect. Mrs. Frederick
Morrincld having the honor of netting

of the ceiling were brought out utrik-
illkly. the whole harmonizing delight
