William T. Williams’ Team Recovered
in Vermont.
Richard whitenian and Harold Spi-
cer, of Westpori. who are said to have
stolen William T. Williams' horse and
buggy some time ago and made for
Canada with II, are still at large. but
the horse and wagon have been found
and. are on their way to Wesiport.
having been located in Vermont by
John Spicer. father 0! Harold Splcer,
one of the boys.
The: the young fellows have learn-
ed their business and are somewhat
shifty is evidencmcd by the fact that
they have not been apprehended by
the police of Vermont or New York
state, who are out after them with a
vengeance.
It will be remembered that Mr.
Spicer left for Canada sometime ago,
having received information to the
ei'fect that the boys were there with a
former minister at Brdgeport. Upon
reaching the place. the lads were
among the missing, but Mr. Spice: got
word that they had left the team be-
hind In Vermont not having had the
necessary fund 0 pay the duty re-
quired by the %dlan government
for passage Into pinch. it seems
that they traded off Mr. Williams‘
horse for a mustang. Ecting 82 to
boot. Subsequently they sold the
mustan and wagon for 825 and left
for pars unknown. Later It ivas
learned that the boys had been seen
iii Summerville, N. Y.. with another
,_ horse and carriage and were bound
