HARTFORD. June 22,—Among the
reports made to the house today was
one on the measure concerning the
adulteration of food. liquors and drugs.
which was adopted. Unfavorable re-
ports included a numbeI of excise
matters.
There was a favorable report. on the
bill to. allow presidents of savings
banks to accept compensation for ser-
vices. the amount being 8500. where
the deposits reach one million dollars.
