now believed that two of his ribs were

ton & Maine Railroad shares. The mat

that its originators will hardly know
it. The matter was taken from the
foot of the calendar at. the request of
Representative Parker, of Hartford.

Mr. Bishop replied that the company
will ultimately hold the controlling
interest of the Boston & Maine itali-

for reasons good. and sufficient for
themselves. The charter ought to be
granted to them, he said. and they
should not be hurrassed and bothered
by amendment when they could have
organized under the general law.
