Jewish Daily News. concerning the
movement among foreign Jews, to no
tify all the large Jewish organizations
striving to ameliorate the condition of
the Jews and Inaugurate a Jewish col-
onization on a large scale in Meaopo
iamia. Jacob H. Schlff. the New York
banker and philanthropist, is the lead-
er of the movement which is describ-
ed as the largest Jewish movement
since the dispersion.
Mr. Sohiff is now traveling through
Europe and the News understands that
one of the principal objects of his trip
is the furtherance of this unification
plan. He has already met with con-
siderable success bringing together
the Jewish colonisation association
with the Jewish territorialist organiza-
tion to act in unison on the Mesopo-
tamia project. Mr. Sohiff is now inter-
viewing various Jewish leaders in Eu-
rope. and it is predicted that before
long most of the ism Jewish organl4
