STEVENS To STAY.
The New Haven Railroad, in re-
sponse to a. question concerning the
report that Vice-President John F.
Stevens was to leave the New Haven
to manage the affairs of the Colorado
and Southern for‘ the new owners. the
Chicago. Burlington find Quincy road,
gave. out the following statement:
“Inasmuch as Mr. Stevens is today
in New York. on business of the com
pany. instead of touring the Colorado
and Southern system, as reported. it
hardly seems necessary to go into the
story any further." . ‘
The New York paper said that Mr.
Stevens was touring the Colorado road
with A. D. .Psrker, a vice-president of
that company.
