Walsh, at Stamford, a wealthy agent
for the Standard Oil Company, was
awarded $2,300 damages by Judge
Reed, of th civil superior court, Stit-
urday, in a action brought. against
the Stamford Street Railway Com-
pany.
The suit was for $50 000 damages.
Walsh claimed that lie was roughly
handled and thrown from a car by
one of the company‘s conductors af-
ter a dispute about payment of fare.
