was a wall-known summer resident
here, and with her husband and daugh-
ter. Miss Carrie Plait. had made her
home for nearly a year past with Miss
Eliza Platt, of West avenue. A son
died about a Year ago.

evening, but considers himself lucky
that the result was not more serious.
He went to the office of Dr. R. M.
Wolfe, where the physician extracted
the bullet and dressed the wound.
Mr. Ready is proprietor of a saloon
