Another horse went through the
Washington street bridge, yesterday.
The unfortunate animal this time
was that of the Atlantic and Pacific
Tea Company’s South Norwnlk store.
The animal tore off ll shoe, skinned
its knee, and bled considerably about
the legs. This accident. occurred be-
tween ihe irollcy tracks. The frigh-
tened young driver went back to the
store to consult the manager.
James H. Hunford reduced the age
of that famous rooster which disap-
peared some time ago. another live
years, this morning. This makes the
bird's age fifteen. 01', to adhere strict-
ly to veracity, it was Mr. Hunl’ord‘s
friends who did the age reducing, and
he repented their declaration. The
bird will probably be young enough
to out in a. few days, or else will. re-

Robert Tate will resign his position
