An important business meeting of
the Advent Christian Church was held
last evening at the close. of the weekly
prayer meeting. At that time it was
voted to rescind the action of a former
| business meeting, when it was voted'to
execute a mortgage to raise part of
the funds with which to rebuild the
church. it was found that the menus-
cti action had not been properly ad-
vertised according to the church's by-
laws Hnd hence the revocation. it was
therefore voted, last night, to adjourn
without date. the uuderisnudlng being
that another business meeting will be
called and practically the some action
taken as at the first business meeting,
except that everything will bodone
strictly according to the by-laws.
