made a complaint last night about 12
o'clock, to Officer Charles Page, of the
Norwaik police force, that her husband
had driven her out of the house. Of-
ficer Page Went to their home and
found that a general family row had

of Judge Lockwood, Butler was parol‘
ed in custody of Chief Bradley, until
Monday morning, when the case will
be in the town court at 9 o’eloek.

Charles Payne, of Harbor avenue,
Norwaik, is mouring the loss of his
pet. fox terrier trick dog, which is well
known to the people of that vicinity as
"Texas." Yesterday at 12 o’clock the
canine was apparently all right, and
about 12: 16 it ran into the yard and
acted queerly. Thinking that possibly
the animal might be going mad, it
was locked in a room, and Dr. Brun-
dage was sent for. He immediately
pronounced the trouble as poisoning.
and said that'nothing could save the
animal. It died shortly afterwards, in
spite of efforts to save its life.
