Intoxicated Man Taken to Undertaker
Raymond's For Repairs.
A man with a bottle of whiskey in
his ockct and possessing a breath like
the fumes from a Kentucky distillery
pitched headlong from a trolley car In
North Main street yesterday afternoon
and for a time it was believed that he
had been fatally injured.
Just how the accident occurred was
not quite clear. though as near as
could be learned. the man had been
sitting [none of the ,rear seats of a
north bound car, suddenly jumped up
and walked directly from the steps.

pavement, face downward, in the gut-
ter in front of the Warwick Hotel. '7
Floyd Collin. who was sitting in Da-
vid W. Raymonds' undertaking cities,
where he is employed, saw the man's
test going through space in a horizon-
tal position. and hustled out to see
the result.
The man lay inert and the crowd
which collected believed he was dead
and apparently one young man in par-
ticular, was afraid to touch him. Mr.
Collin, however, picked the uncon-
scious man up and took him into the
undertaking establishment. The res-
cuer also telephoned for physicians.
but was unable to locate any.
After remaining unconscious for
about ten minutes the injured man.

walked off without leaving his name.
